People (Keywords: friends, lovers, people)
Oh, I love mankind. It is people I cannot stand. Funny or not, it is true. We do not really like other people. For us they are generally ridiculous except for those few that we have in our inner circle that we could interact with and empathize with. So, we go our way hoping to find that person or persons who will make us complete even if we know people cannot stand us too.

There are people who can easily make friends and who genuinely enjoy other people's company. They are the success stories of our times because they really like people.

Come to Ching's World which is Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Dumaguete, all of which are in the Philippines. Visit Ching's World.   Check out Jonathan Leger's Search Engine Myths Exposed

I had not seen nor talked to Tinoy for many years and a few days back i got his number and called him where he was, in California. He called me back today and we got to talking about old friends, people that we knew. Life goes on and friends part ways and if they are lucky, they get back in touch and still have that feeling of friendship that connects them. Other friends lose this feeling of friendship and i guess, this is just the way that it goes. I have become isolated and i do not really have any friends now. The only friend that I could call a friend is the Internet. I spend more time on he Internet than on the world outside. I feel more creative and alive when on the internet. It is so faceless and amorphous that you can shape it however you wish. This works for me and I am not complaining.

I had been kind of stressed out lately and I knew that I had to make changes in my life. The easiest way to change one's life is to change one's mind. The mind tells how our lives will be. If we're feeling lousy all the time then that is how our lives are going to be. I had been very negative and this I did or felt or allowed to dictate my life to the extent that my whole life became negative even when good things  were happening. So I decided to take back my mind and disallowed the negativity to get back in and ruin my mind. IT is fun when one is in charge of the mind once again. This might last a short while because the mind is quite tricky and will always find ways to take control once again. The game is on!!

There are few places that a man can love in his life. This is largely determined by his temperament. Take an earth-bound creature like me and you would find someone who has not been in many places in his life. It takes time for me to get used to a place. I feel like a stranger in a new place and this might be because I do not make friends easily. This is why I keep coming back to Cagayan de Oro City. I have been away for a number of years and it seemed as if I would not miss Cagayan de Oro City at all. Too much time has passed. Yet, I find myself scheming to go back to this wonderful city. Cagayan de Oro City has become strange to me. The people that I knew have become strangers to me. They no longer have time for me at all and this is understandable. Still, Cagayan de Oro City is somewhere I would like to be.

Here they are, enjoy them.  Dennis Bryan S. Villarin, Music Files, Rejoice Hardware, Blog Bum, XUHS,    XU-AAA, Internet Scams.

There are few opportunities for me in Cagayan de Oro City but I have to keep on trying. This mind-set might be caused by my need to raise the banner of my person that has fallen by the wayside. Nobody knows me in Cagayan de Oro City and that hurts I guess.

These are always fun as they are our favorites: Cebu City, Ching's World, Cagayan de Oro City, Dumaguete, Moira Trinity, Papoy.

I had to go to Cebu for an emergency of a digital nature. My computer needed another gigabyte of RAM as the application that I had been working on suddenly ballooned to proportions which my computer could not handle gracefully. This gave me a chance to meet with Rene Mercado and the super-fun guys that he hangs out with namely, Dominic, Roy and Brian. On the last day I also met with Baste and he is working on a concert in Dumaguete which has its Fiesta coming along fast. This should be fun for Dumaguete.

i never tire of offering these sites for your edification: Day by Day, Cagayan de Oro City, Papoy, Bethel Guest House,

A little bit of Thai foot massage really goes a long way of relieving tired feet. It is positively decadent and I could easily get used to it. Cebu has a whole lot of these places that offer instant well-being. After all, our feet carry us all the time. It is just right that some care is given to them.

These are always fun: Cebu City, Ching's World, Cagayan de Oro City, Dumaguete, Moira Trinity, Papoy.

I shall be going to Cebu City soon. It is a bustling city, continually growing, ever moving. Blessed with an inventive people, Cebu City has talent being exported to the big city of Manila. This is not to say that Cebu only exports talent. For a long time, Cebu was a principal exporter of handicrafts, furniture, semi-conductors and many others. It is sad that Cebu is also a haven of smugglers of cars, rice, used clothing and other commodities. There is something inherently wrong about this situation. The government legislates structures that make smuggling lucrative and people that implement the laws are the ones that allow smuggling to continue. This is indeed strange.

Cebu City is especially noted for music and art. Many people come to Cebu to buy guitars, one of the reaons for going to Cebu.

The principal city in the province of Negros Oriental in the Philippines, Dumaguete City is one of the oldest cities in the country. The Bell Tower which now stands silent beside the Cathedral is testament to the Spanish Influence in this city, dubbed "City of Gentle People". This is not to say that the inhabitants of this city are push-overs rather, they are unspoiled and still retain the traits of Filipinos of being non-confrontational. They are quick to help even when it is not solicited, an endearing quality in this modern world obsessed with privacy.

Here are some interesting sites: Lilliput's Flowers, Utopia, Dumaguete Royal Suites Inn, Ching's World. Check them out and let your hair down.

Many foreigners have made a home in Dumaguete and the local lasses are not complaining. The laid-back and easy-going lifestyle seems to suit foreigners from America and Europe who affectionately claim Dumaguete as their second home.

Today I received a text message from a colleague of mine asking me if I knew a buyer for an item with markings that say, "JP MORGAN". I must admit that I was surprised to learn of this as this was the first time for me to hear of such an item. I have had dealings with PVN or Philippine Victory Notes and Liberty Bonds, purportedly part of buried  treasure left after the Second World War. Cagayan de Oro City is famous or perhaps infamous for being the haven of treasure hunters of all kinds.

For a while I was involved in this madness caused by tales of buried treasure left by Gen. Yamashita's retreating Japanese Imperial Army. Hearing of this particular item i.e. "JP MORGAN", reminded me that a lot of these stories are just that, stories. Although I have personally come in contact with strongboxes bearing markings like "Liberty Bond" and "Wells Fargo", I have never seen any successful conclusion of any of those adventures. Cagayan de Oro is mad with this fever and it seems to draw me back into this madness one more time.

People (Keywords: people, places, maybe faces too and events)
This is a new blog and I shall have people and places here. Maybe some photos and links to other sites. Truly, the Internet is the very epitome of freedom. Of course, others are free to try and curtail this freedom too. All of this is part of the cycle of unfolding of consciousness.

I shall have photographs of places and faces of people in the local settings.
